So to all of my friends that read this still ... It's that time again. Birthday Time!!!
My Birthday is on Saturday the 16th, but we are celebrating on Friday the 15th. We really didn't plan this out at all this year, so I guess the party is going to be at my place this year.
I figure we should start around 8ish or 9ish. You know, whenever you want to show up on Friday, that's when we will get started. Here is my address

So yes. My birthday is now 1 week away. For those of you who still haven’t figured it out ... My birthday is On Thursday, August 16th. We are going to be celebrating my birthday on 2 days, both that Thursday, and the day after on Friday.
On Thursday we will be heading up to Vino’s for a night of drunken Karaoke. Now you don’t have to sing, but you should at least show up to buy me a beer or shot or just for me to see you. Here is the address for Vino’s so that you can google maps it:

If you know where I live, it is about 1.5 miles from where I live. I want everyone to come out for this. This will be loads of fun. We will be getting there at around 8.
Now on Friday the 17th, I will be having my actual birthday party at my friend Amanda’s apartment. I don’t know her address yet, but I will put it up before the weekend is over. Hopefully we can also start this around 8 and go until whenever. Should be lots of fun also.
I am also going to send out 2 event invites. 1 for the Karaoke night, and the other for the party so i know how many people to expect. Also expect text messages from me.
I haven’t seen alot of you in a very very long time. Some of you since my bday last year, and some since before that. I want to see all my friends next week at some point.

1. No one had a halloween party.
2. Someone had a halloween party, but forgot to invite me.
3. Someone had a party, but forgot to check to see if it was ok for me to come.

So most of you have met my cat Ace. Well, as of yesterday, he has not been able to pee. He would constantly keep going in and out of the litter box with no success with regards to urination.
So I brought him to the vet this morning, and informed them of the problem. This can be something very easy to treat, or something very complicated and expensive. Please, let us hope that it is something easy to fix, because I cannot afford the complicated route, and would unfortunately have to take other measures.
So if you people that read this believe in God, Buddha, Elephant person with 8 arms, whatever you believe in ... If you could say a little prayer and hopefully Ace will get better soon.

So yeah ... my bday is this wednesday the 16th ... so that means it's time for a party. So lets get this shit scheduled.

The festivities will begin at around 9pm. Please let me know if you are going to show up, or if you are going to bring anyone.

Why am I awake at 8am?
Why can I not find a job?

So anyway ... I still have had no fucking luck finding a job. This is ridiculous. I think i should really stop using online sites like Monster.com, careerbuilder.com, craigslist, dfwhelpwanted.com, and others. I am on these sites what seems like 24/7 and I am constantly submitting my resume to companies, and doing online applications, and I cannot get a call back or even a reply saying "no","sorry, you aren't what we are looking for", or even a "maybe."
I had an interview about 3 weeks ago with this company that Kim's brother works at, and they said they weren't hiring for 3 weeks. Well, it's been 3 weeks. How about a call back or something. I need money to survive. I just can't do it anymore.
But seriously, let me say one thing. I take my time seriously. By this I mean that I do not like wasting my time. I want to find a job that I enjoy doing, pays decent, and doesn't feel like it is a complete waste of time. I know that is going to be hard to do, but I HAVE to find something like this. I get bored very easily, so I don't want to get a job that instantly bores me.
Being at home all day trying to find a job is depressing.
Wow this Shakira video is a lot better with the sound off. She can't sing worth a shit.
Oh well. That is enough of my boring depressing rant.
Off to try to find a decent job. Without any kind of luck i'm sure. |

Well, i decided at the last minute to take a trip out to Gun Barrel City with my roommate Mike. He was wanting to celebrate his birthday out on the lake with his dad. He convinced me that a few of the people that live out here wanted to see me again, so at the last minute I packed up some stuff and hopped in the car with him. The trip is a little over an hour, and I told mike that I was tired before we left, so I slept a little in the car.
As soon as we arrived, we went down to their dock at the end of the street, and began fishing. We immediately started catching some nice sized catfish. But we didn't stay out there too long because there was a game of poker going on across the street that involved lots of old people. They welcomed Mike and I into the game, and told us that they play some serious poker. Riiiiiiiiight.
So mike took the change out of his car, and we sat down to play. I started with about 3 dollars in front of me in change and we were ready to start the action. They were doing dealer calls it, and the dealer had to ante a quarter. I enjoyed this game. I didn't want to do anything fancy, so I just played my good hands, and folded the bad ones early on so I didn't have to spend lots of money to not win. After about an hour and a half or so, I was up to around $16-$17. It was funny tho, cause they were playing their house rules. 3's were wild, and if you flipped one over in 7 card stud or some other game, you had to pay a quarter no matter what. So sometimes when it was time for them to pay their quarters they would say things, like "I might want to fold." But they said that you had to pay if it got dealt to you. So when this one old lady was trying not to pay, I told her she had to, and then she yelled at me. That upset me, I wanted to fucking slap that old bitch.
So we went to bed, then got up at like 7:45 am to eat breakfast at some place that has an all you can eat breakfast buffet for 5 bucks. It was worth the 5 dollars, but not a penny more. We came back, went back down to the docks and started fishing again. We caught some more catfish which brought the total up to around 12 or so. So we basically had a basket of fish.
I came back, and took a nap for a few hours, and got up and started walking around. Apparently, Mike had gone off to ride on a boat with some lady, so I was on my own. The only people that will really talk to me out here are Mike's dad and his dad's girlfriend. Everytime I walk by a group of people you can hear them quiet down. I walk by, and as soon as I get a little bit away, they start up talking again. I don't know what I did to anyone, but I get the worst vibe some some of these people. It doesn't help that all of the people that are out here are hicks, I mean, well we are in Gun Barrel City after all.
So I gave Kim a call and told her that I was not having a good time since no one will really give me the time of day except for a few people.
Lucky for Mike, his dad got him a 60 gig Ipod Video for his bday. His dad will pretty much get him whatever he wants. Well, he did disappear for a big
portion of his life, so he's trying to make up for that.
I wish I could find my dad, and he would want to make up for running off while my mom was pregnant. Oh well.
I'm actually typing this out here at his dad's place, cause there is nothing for me out here to do. I don't want to go get in the lake, cause there was a guy shooting snakes in the water. So being in the lake right by where there are snakes, and some old senile fat man shooting his shotgun at the snakes, doesn't appeal to me. I managed to connect to someone's wireless network in the middle of the night last night for a little bit, but it eventually faded away.
I am just sitting out here waiting for Kim and Ian to come pick me up so I can get out of this place. I don't care if I am bored at home, at least I won't feel like I am stuck at home. I will know that I at least have the freedom to go and do what I want, and I won't feel like everyone around me thinks that I am an outcast.
Mike just got back from boating, and told me that he put his phone on the floor of the boat as they were dropping the boat into the water, and so now his razor does not work anymore since the boat started filling with water. I'm still trying to figure out why you would bring a phone onto a boat when you know you are going to get wet. Oh well.
His dad is now blaring Nickleback throughout the house. Well, I don't feel like plugging my laptop into the wall, so I am going to pack it up and just wait for Kim and Ian to get here. I will post this as soon as I get home. I might end up updating when I get home.
No ... I will definately update when I get home cause his dad just came in here and talked to me. OMG. I am NEVER coming out here again after this weekend.

Ok ... so where was I? Oh yes. So Mike's dad comes in and tells me (Remember he doesn't know that I'm leaving yet), "Hey, just letting you know that tonight you are going to have to give up your bed, because someone else needs to sleep here tonight." He then told me that I would be more than welcome to sleep on the couch. Hrmmmmm .... Fuck that. So i basically told him that he didn't have to worry about it and that I was leaving. I didn't really use such nice words, but I got my point across.
So Kim and Ian showed up around 7 or so, and I drove back. Dropped Ian off at his place, then grabbed some food and came home. Now I get to be on the internet as much as I want and do what I want, and not feel like I can't go anywhere.
So yes, this has been a long update and I am sure that no one is reading this anymore. So it will come to an end.
